Welcome to the Montgomery County Region Puppy Raisers’ site for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.  We are one of over 37 regions from Maine to North Carolina and Ohio that provides volunteer services for the parent organization Guiding Eyes located in Yorktown Heights, New York.

Our goal is to serve in a volunteer capacity to help specially bred Guiding Eyes pups develop into well adjusted and mannerly young adults. Most dogs will complete their training and graduate to help a visually impaired or blind individual. Whatever should be a pup’s future, you will feel proud of your participation as a puppy raiser.

New puppy raisers are always in demand, and no prior experience is necessary!
